With so much to plan for a wedding the last thing you need is your venue cancelling on you two months before your big day. This has just happened to bride-to-be Lauren Lane who was due to get married to Daniel at Chewton Place in Bristol . The venues landlords went into voluntary administration and used a lot of couples deposits to pay creditors leaving Lauren with no refund and no venue. Chewton Place is now in the process of being taken over by new landlords but this doesn’t help the brides who have already had to find new venues and will have to wait months before any wedding insurance pays out.
Lauren is now getting married at Rookery Manor in Somerset on the 25th February but due to the date change she has lost a lot of her original suppliers who aren’t available on the new date (and of course has lost a lot of deposits)
Can any of you lovely readers donate any help or know anyone who can? She still needs a make up artist, hairdressers, evening entertainment, suits for the children and shoes and hair accessories for 3 adult Bridesmaids. You can contact Lauren on Twitter @laurenlane1984 or via firstname.lastname@example.org
who is helping Lauren co-ordinate the wedding plans.
