Payment can be taken safely and securely by credit or debit card via Paypal. Alternatively please contact me for address details to pay using a cheque or postal order.
All items come beautifully packaged in a gorgeous gift box for no extra charge. This will then be dispatched in a padded envelope for additional protection.
- Postage is FREE of charge on all orders to mainland UK addresses.
- Postage on orders to European countries is £9.50 Orders are sent by Royal Mail’s Airsure and will need to be signed for on delivery.
- Worldwide postage is charged at £11.00. Orders will be sent by Royal Mail’s Airsure (or International Signed For where Airsure is not available) and will need to be signed for on delivery.
Please allow up to 14 days for the delivery of your jewellery (This is for UK orders, International orders may take longer than this). Although the majority of pieces will be completed much sooner, custom designs or large pieces can take up to this amount of time to complete. Ready To Wear jewellery will be dispatched within two working days of ordering.
Refund & Exchange Policy
If you are unhappy with your purchase in any way please contact me within 3 days of receipt of your order for an exchange or refund. Refunds or exchanges will not be given for customised items unless found to be faulty or damaged.
Items for exchange must be returned to me in their original condition within 7 days of receipt. Goods must be returned unworn and in original packaging. For hygiene reasons earrings cannot be exchanged. Return postage will not be refunded. Returning the items by recorded delivery is recommended for your protection.
In the unlikely event that your item is found to be damaged please contact me immediately to arrange return of the item. A replacement will be sent and return postage costs reimbursed.
If an item is found to be faulty then please return for a full refund. For your protection sending the item by recorded delivery is recommended, return postage will be refunded.
Terms and Conditions for Something Borrowed
In these terms and conditions, “us”, “we” or “our” means Sophia May/Bridal Designs Wedding Jewellery. It is important to us that you understand these terms and conditions. If you have any questions, please email us on info@sophiamay.co.uk.
To qualify for this offer your total spend must be over £99. If a discount code is used the order must total over £99 after the code has been applied. The offer is only valid on jewellery (not including any pieces from the Second Time Around or Ready To Wear categories) and not on any products from the Canine Designs category.
When you safely return the jewellery in satisfactory condition you will receive a 50% refund of your purchase price.
You will need to fill out the form you will be directed to after checkout to indicate that you are interested in taking advantage of this offer. The date of your wedding / party /event where you plan to wear the jewellery will also need to be given. This doesn’t obligate you to use this offer, if you decide to keep the jewellery just email us on info@sophiamay.co.uk to let us know.
Returning your Something Borrowed Jewellery
We will enclose a form with your jewellery that will give you all the information you need to know about returning your jewellery to us and the address to send it to.
Jewellery must be returned in the original packaging and in the same condition as you received it. Broken, damaged or unclean jewellery will not be accepted, no payment will be given and the jewellery will be returned to you to keep. We recommend you use a silver cleaning cloth to clean the jewellery after wear (these can be purchased here). Please apply hair spray and perfume before putting on jewellery to avoid tarnishing and dulling the shine of the crystals.
Any jewellery you wish to return must be received at Sophia May on or before the return date given on the form enclosed with your order. Late returns will not be accepted.
You are responsible for returning the jewellery to us in the required condition. Sophia May/Bridal Designs will not be liable for any loss or damage to jewellery caused in transit. Payment will not be made for any lost or damaged jewellery. Jewellery must be returned to us by Royal Mail Special Delivery.
These terms do not affect your statutory rights.
Payment Refund for Something Borrowed
Your payment will be made via Paypal to the email address you used to pay for the jewellery. The payment will be 50% of the purchase price. If a discount code has been used the payment will be 50% of the price paid after the discount code was applied.
Payment will be made on receipt of the jewellery after it has been deemed to be in satisfactory condition. If it is not in satisfactory condition the jewellery will be returned to you to keep and no payment will be made.
Terms and Conditions for Second Time Around
Second Time Around pieces are jewellery that has been returned from the something borrowed scheme. Each has only been hired out once and will be in virtually new condition. We personally check the condition of each piece and clean them before listing.
Pieces are sold as seen and cannot be altered in colour or size unless stated differently. Second Time Around pieces cannot be returned unless faulty and are not eligible for the Something Borrowed scheme. (Earrings are not resold for hygiene reasons)
